MCA Toronto Estimating 101 (January 14 - March 18, 2026)

Description

Estimating 101 course will provide the students with an introduction to the estimating field. The course will cover setting up an estimate, take-off of materials / equipment, material costing, labour assessment, interpreting tender documents and completing an actual bid.

This course requires that the student has taken Plumbing 101(strongly recommended but not mandatory) and or has knowledge of the Ontario Plumbing code.

January 14, 21, 28
February 4, 11, 25 [Note - there will NOT be class on February 18]
March 4, 11, 18

Location: MCA Toronto Office 

Seating is limited to 12 persons.

Time

This course will run Wednesday evenings from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. starting January 14 - March 18, 2026. There will not be a session on February 18, 2026.

Pricing

The course cost is $1000+HST per person with all  funds being returned to MCAT contractor members in good standing. Contractor members in good standing will need to have registrants attend all sessions for full refund.
